Setting up a PPPoE connection on Windows 8 (Windows 8.1)

Please note that when you use a Wi-Fi router, you do not need to configure PPPoE on your computer, since a PPPoE connection is already on the Wi-Fi router. Setting up a PPPoE connection on a computer is required only if the provider's cable is directly connected to the computer, without using a Wi-Fi router.

To configure, use the following algorithm:

Find and select the icon on the taskbar, as shown in the picture.

Right-click on the network connections icon on the taskbar and select "Network and Sharing Center".

Select "Set up a new connection or network".

Select "Connect to the Internet".

If a message appears that the connection has already been made, select "Create a new connection anyway"

Select "Broadband (PPPoE)".

In the specified fields, enter the "login" and "password" given to you by the UNET.BY provider, and also specify "UNET.BY" as the connection name. Then click "Connect".
